2-Understand the Symbols

  • Cruelty-free:🐰 Leaping Bunny, PETA or CCF means no animal testine

  • Vegan:🌱 Certified vegan means no animal-derived ingredients

  • Recycling & Sustainability:♻️ Mobius Loop, Green dot, FSC (forest Stewardship council) means eco-friendly packaging

  • Expiration & Usage: ⏳ PAO (period after opening) symbol shows how long the product is safe after opening

3-Red Flags in Ingredients

  • ❌ Avoid Phthalates (plasticisers sometimes found in fragrances)

  • ❌ Avoid Synthetic fragrances ( skin irritations and allergies)

4-Verify the Batch Code & Authenticity

  • Look for lot numbers or batch codes

  • Some brands offer QR codes to verify authenticity online

  • Avoid missing details like spelling errors and fake barcodes as these can indicate counterfeit products

5-Check Product claims & Marketing terms

  • Clinically Proven: Was it tested on 5 or 500 people? Look for data

  • 🌍100% natural: Not legally regulated; check list of ingredients

  • Fragrance free vs Unscented: May still contain fragrance

6-Research the Brand’s Ethics & Transparency
